How Long Does a Cam Affiliate Link Get Credit?

A reader clicks your cam affiliate link on Monday and joins weeks later. Whether you get credit depends on what the program does before registration. Once the reader has an account, a different rule may apply. Stripcash documents both stages.

Before the visitor signs up

Stripcash says its go redirects and on-site tracking links set a 90-day cookie. If that window expires before registration, its help page says the visitor needs to return through your referral link to be attributed to you again. It describes a separate rule for your own white-label site, where visitors are attributed to your affiliate ID by default. Check which link type your page uses before applying either rule.

After the visitor registers

Stripcash says it credits the last affiliate link the visitor clicked before registering and keeps that attribution for the lifetime of the member’s account. Its example explains that a later click on a different affiliate’s link does not reassign that registered member. Commission on an eligible purchase still follows the applicable program terms.

Keep both rules with the offer

In your campaign notes, record the link type, the pre-registration window, the rule for assigning a new account, and the conditions for later commission. Check the official terms again if you change programs or use a white label. When support investigates a missing referral, give them the click and signup dates if known, the offer or placement ID, and the destination. Avoid sending customer details through ordinary email.
