What to Send Support When Your Cam Stream Breaks

Posted on November 4, 2026

“My stream keeps dropping” gives support a starting point. “Video froze after two minutes in JasminCam at 9:12 p.m. Eastern, and the app stayed connected” gives them an incident they can look up. Write the ticket while you still remember what happened.

Describe one failed session

Include the platform, your broadcasting method, app or browser version, operating system, approximate start time with time zone, and the exact error if one appeared. Say whether audio, video or both failed. Note where you saw the problem: local preview, encoder, or the platform’s broadcast page. Include one short sequence of steps that reliably reproduces it if you have one.

Attach the evidence that matches the problem

For OBS, its official tools use the log from the affected session. OBS offers current and last-session log options under Help → Log Files. Check which session contains the failure. Review diagnostic files before sharing them and avoid including stream keys, passwords, viewer chat or unrelated screenshots. For JasminCam or browser streaming, include the app version and relevant error instead of sending an OBS log from a different setup.

Use the platform’s support channel

LiveJasmin’s wiki directs models to support through Model Center or its Support Center. Include what you changed and what happened after each test. A short note such as “local recording stayed smooth, but the broadcast dropped twice” helps support choose the next check. Keep the ticket number with your test notes so you can follow up in one place.
